I can't believe a month has gone by since the last post.  time is going by way too quickly.  i've been helping my sister (she's a freshman in high school now and decided she wanted to play tennis....which she's never played and didn't even have a racket), and been taking my brother driving (he just got his permit so he wants to drive ALL THE TIME)

for a while too, i was having some drama with my dad.  a two part fight cuz he first failed to see that i'm not 18 anymore and that they've done a good job of raising me so that i can make good decision on my own and wasn't listening to reason...i have been for the past 5 yrs wheni was away from home...well, maybe not the best decisions, but i've learned from my mistakes..lol ....after the second one, i made him see my point of view..so hopefully things will be calm again soon

i've also been staying away from the computer cuz i got laser eye surgery.  I CAN SEE NOW!!!  well, during the day anyway.  i've got horrible night vision now and i've gotta wear really dark sunglasses during the day.  it didn't hurt, but i was a lil scared. specially since i could see everything they were doing to me during it. it will be a while before i can see perfectly, but it was soooo worth it.

last but not least....i'll be going down for expo next week. not sure if i'm getting there on friday or sunday.  can't wait

it's been a while, but everything's good. texas was fun even though we didn't get to do much sightseeing.  lots of catching up with family and first time i ever "drank" with them (it was only two shots of tequila.....don't really wanna get drunk cuz they'll never let it go)  also trying to spend time my friend before she moves to new york  i know she'll be happy, but i'm gonna miss her.  hope everyone else is doing great!

andrea: sorry i didn't get to go to the bday party.as peter hopefully told u, i was at my cousin's wedding shower all day on saturday (didn't really wanna go but i had to) hope she had a good bday.

peter:  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!..  i hope u've had a good day so far and i'll see u later today..muah.

i'm excited about the next couple of weeks.  on saturday i'll be going out with the girls in the morning and then going to see a band play at a bar in joliet and dancing to the city (not sure where yet).  then, shopping for the trip to texas next week.  haven't been to houston in years! we get to do some sightseeing this time :) any suggestions?

She's not going through with it tomorrow!!!!  after alot of talking!, everything's settled.  she explained alot of things and she understood y we would worried.  instead, she's postponing it so that her family can be there too.  and we are all relieved and really happy for her.  

i got stuff settled with the university too.  somehow, i kept getting stuff as if i was still in school and was graduating in december?!  i don't know wat happened, but it's all cleared.. i did graduate

so...most things are pretty much the same..(not necessarily good but not necessarily bad either)  i've done a lot of window shopping since my cousin decided to have the bridesmaids buy $70 shoes from nine west (they're really cute but i damn!!!)

on another note, i've been very worried about a friend of mine.  she decided on saturday that she's going to get married.  it was a shock, but k..i guess she realized she really loved the guy.  but then she tells us that she's going through with it THIS saturday!!!! y the rush?  her response...y not?  she doesn't really care if any of her family/friends are there...i mean, they're welcome to it but the only one she needs is him. worst part is, i just found out more of the story behind this guy (which i've never met) and i'm really worried.  she's too damn stubborn to listen to us.  everyon'es tried to talk her out of doing it this weekend (not necessarily doing it at all) but no one seems to be able to get through to her.
